Do you already know our XXL Porridges? The three different varieties, strawberry-chia, bircher and blackberry, each contain 1500 grams of the finest porridge. This corresponds to about 30 portions, which is one month’s supply of porridge. Buying big packs definitely pays off, because you not only save time and money, but also do something good for the environment. You can save approx. 50% plastic and approx. 25% cardboard by buying large packs. On top of that, you are provided with a delicious and nutritious breakfast for a whole month.
5 reasons for big packs
Here are five reasons why you should switch to porridge big packs:
1. 30 days stock without reordering
2. 30 days only one instead of four packs
3. 30 days of a carefree start to the day
4. 30 days of versatile breakfast
5. 30 days of high-energy breakfast
1. Reorder less often
As the porridge runs out less often due to the purchase of bulk packs, it is therefore less often necessary to reorder. Thus, one never accidentally runs out of one’s favourite porridge. It doesn’t matter if you have to share your porridge with someone. There is enough for everyone.
The big packages each contain 1500 grams of porridge. Our standard size contains 350 and 450 grams of porridge. So the XXL-packs contain about 3-4 times more. The large packs also have an effect on the price:
|Price in € per 1000 g||Standard||XXL|
You save around 2€ each time you buy the Porridge big pack. So it definitely pays off to buy the XXL-package of your favourite porridge, you can save a little and you won’t run out of porridge so quickly 😉
2. Big packs are good for the environment
Sustainability is a topic that concerns us very much. As individuals, but also as a company, we try to make a positive contribution to the environment through our decisions. This influences on the one hand the production of the goods and on the other hand the packaging and transportation to your doorstep.
Ordering larger portions less often saves on transport, of course, and that goes for breakfast products as well as anything else. You can also save a lot of packaging waste with the large packs. If you switch to XXL packs permanently you can save about 50% plastic and 25% cardboard compared to smaller packs.
Here is a little example: If you eat a portion of porridge every second day of the year, you will consume approximately the following package weight (approximate values for 180 portions):
|XXL porridges||42 g plastic||414 g cardboard|
|350 g porridges||82 g plastic||550 g cardboard|
|450 g porridges||68 g plastic||428 g cardboard|
3. Start the day carefree with large packs
With the XXL-Porridges you simply don’t have to think so much, because the perfect breakfast is already ready. Porridge is easy to prepare and provides you with the best nutrients. If you are not a morning person, we recommend preparing your breakfast in the form of overnight oats the night before.
4. Variety despite the same base
To make your breakfast varied you can either prepare it in different ways or round it off with different toppings. Especially for porridge there are several different ways to prepare it. You can pour hot water over it, cook it with milk or vegetable drink in the microwave or with the liquid of your choice on the stove. You can also refine your porridge with spices of your choice, such as cinnamon or cocoa, sweeteners, such as agave syrup, and delicious toppings. Here you can let your creativity run wild and add fresh berries, nuts or seeds.
Our tip: In summer, freeze fresh regional fruits such as strawberries and raspberries and enjoy them in your breakfast all year round.
5. 30 days of breakfast that gives energy
Porridge contains many nutrients. The minerals, fibres, vitamins and proteins keep you full for a long time and provide you with energy all day long. Porridge therefore also helps to prevent ravenous appetite attacks. In addition, a warm breakfast helps to boost the metabolism and strengthen the immune system.
So it definitely pays off to switch to big packs of your favourite breakfast. You’ll have to reorder less often, you’ll even save a little money and you’ll have a delicious, nutritious breakfast for a month.
