Less carbohydrates - more energy

You love granola, but are careful to eat less carbohydrates? Our new Lower Carb Sport Granola Raspberry-Almond is the solution for you! Gently baked oat crunchy, mixed with a high-quality mix of crunchy sunflower seeds, almonds, linseed and sesame is perfectly rounded off with the naturally fruity sweetness of raspberries and dates. Have fun crunching - without a guilty conscience.

Our promise:

  • Without the use of chemical-synthetic pesticides
  • Without added colour and flavourings
  • Without preservatives
  • GMO-free

Multitalented Almonds

We obtain the chopped organic almonds in our muesli from Italy.  They are not only full of important nutrients, but also keep you young and are considered a secret weapon in losing weight. This is because their high fat and protein content curbs your appetite and prevents ravenous appetite

Miracle seed sesame

Sesame consists mainly of fat, but of healthy unsaturated fatty acids, more precisely omega-6 fatty acids. These have a positive effect on the cholesterol level and the intestinal flora. Sesame is also rich in protein and contains many vitamins and minerals, especially iron and calcium.

Immunbooster Raspberries

Due to the many vitamins they contain, such as vitamin C, raspberries are a real immune system booster. The small red berries are also good for your blood sugar level, as they are low in carbohydrates and at the same time rich in fibre. Raspberries are therefore also perfect for preventing ravenous appetite.

We all know it. We all love it. The Crunchy. But how is it produced? We still make our Verival Crunchy by hand - just like you would do it at home, only in larger dimensions. First, the ingredients are mixed together to form a dough, then spread out on a large baking tray and finally gently baked in the oven with sunflower oil. After baking, the large biscuit is broken into many small pieces. Depending on the product, other ingredients, such as berries, are also added. Now our Verival Crunchy is ready to give you a crispy start to the day!

Palm oil is the most widely used vegetable oil and consumption has increased enormously in recent years. To produce it, however, rainforest is cleared, and many animals and people lose their habitat. At Verival we are aware of the negative effects of palm oil and do not use it. We focus on sustainability and therefore use sunflower oil, or more precisely high-oleic sunflower oil. This is an oil that is very rich in oleic acid and can therefore be heated to high temperatures without any problems. This is what makes our Crunchy so beautifully crispy when baked.

Basically, proteins are the building blocks of all our cells. Protein is also the substance of which muscle tissue is made of. If the muscle is stressed to the point of exhaustion, there must be enough protein to build up new muscle mass. Some of these proteins must be taken in with food. Plant protein can be better absorbed by the body than animal protein. According to the DGE, the daily protein requirement is 0.8 grams of protein per kilogram of body weight, and you need up to 1.5 grams per kilogram to build muscle mass.

Oats form the basis of our protein mueslis and protein porridges. Oats not only contain vitamins and minerals, but our oat flakes consist of almost 14 percent protein. Other vegan protein sources in our Sport Range are nuts and pulses.

Essential amino acids are the basic building blocks of all proteins. They cannot be produced by the body itself and must therefore be taken in with food. Essential amino acids include Histidine, isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, threonine, tryptophan and valine. Leucine, isoleucine and valine play a particularly important role in muscle building. In the development of our Sport Range we have therefore paid attention to a balanced composition of essential amino acids.

Carbohydrates are the main supplier of energy to our body. Like protein and fat, they belong to the so-called macronutrients and form the largest part of our food. Good or complex carbohydrates, for example from oats, are particularly important for endurance sports and muscle building (1). In addition to a high satiation effect, they have a high nutrient density. They are rich in vitamins and minerals, trace elements as well as secondary plant substances that promote performance.

In our Sport Range you will also find three low carb cereals, the Lower Carb Granola and two Grain Free Mueslis. A low-carb diet is particularly suitable for people who want to lose weight in the long term or want to maintain their body weight (2). Low-carb products usually have a higher protein content, which makes you feel full on a long-term basis, thus ensuring that fat is broken down more quickly and that we consume fewer calories later in the day.

Full grain for full energy

Full grain for full energy

Whole grains are cereals in which all 3 parts of the grain (part I = husk, part II = endosperm, part III = germ) are processed. This ensures that fibre, vitamins, oils and minerals are ideally preserved. Whole grain can be made from all types of cereals. For our Crunchys we use oats, barley, spelt and wheat. These help to keep the blood sugar level constant, lead to a long feeling of satiety and support digestion. The energy store emptied overnight can therefore be optimally replenished with whole grain.

The breakfast products are rich in vegan proteins and fibre to prepare your body optimally for sporting performance, they are 100% vegan and have a particularly low sugar content. The special composition guarantees a long energy supply, which is especially important for endurance and strength athletes.

Frequently asked questions

Why is protein important for people who do sport?

Protein is a basic component of any balanced diet. Our bodies cannot produce protein themselves, so we need to obtain it from our food. Protein helps build muscle and is even supposed to assist with weight loss. An adequate protein intake is especially important for people who do a lot of physical exercise, because our muscles are largely made of protein.

What other products are in the Verival Sport Range?

Our vegan Verival Sport range currently consists of seven products: Among them are our Sport Porridge Chocolate-Banana, the Breakfast Shake Strawberry-Blackberry with high protein content, the Green Protein Corn Cakes, a perfect protein snack for in between, and our cereals: the Grain Free Sport Granola with Nuts, Seeds & Coconut, the Grain Free Sport Muesli Almond Fig, the Sport Muesli Strawberry-Sour Cherry and the Lower Carb Sport Granola Raspberry-Almond-Coconut.

What are the various sources of protein?

Of course, animal products are not the only source of protein. Our Verival Sport products are made exclusively from plant-based proteins. Nuts and pulses are among the best vegan protein sources, and we've packed plenty of them into our Sport Mueslis. In our Grain-Free Muesli, for example, you'll find sunflower seeds, almonds, cashews, pumpkin seeds, hazelnuts, linseeds and sesame seeds.

Is the Lower Carb Sport Granola sugar-free?

In order for the oat crunchy in our Lower Carb Sport Granola to have its deliciously biscuity texture, it needs some organic cane sugar during the baking process. The dates also contain natural fructose - so no, the Granola is not sugar-free. But the sugar content of only 10g/100g is incredibly low compared to other crunchy mueslis and granolas on the market - otherwise it wouldn't be a lower carb granola. In general, we are very careful with sugar, whether added or natural, and other sweeteners.

Are the Verival Crunchys and Granolas made with palm oil?

No! For the sake of the rainforest, you will definitely not find palm oil in our entire breakfast assortment - we prefer sunflower oil instead. Why? The cultivation of palm oil has a serious impact on our environment, because more and more rainforest area and thus valuable habitat for many plant and animal species has to make way for ever larger palm oil plantations. The industry also has a huge carbon footprint.

How do I prepare the Lower Carb Sport Granola?

Depending on your preference, our Lower Carb Granola tastes great with milk, natural yoghurt or curd cheese. Vegetable drinks and yogurts are also excellent alternatives! For the extra portion of vitamins we recommend adding fresh fruit. But you can also simply nibble it pure or use it as a topping for porridge or ice cream.

Fruchtig, leicht & superlecker!

Ich bin echt begeistert - das Müsli besteht fast nur aus "Körndln" (also Nüssen etc. ;-)), Kokos & Himbeere - nicht nur perfekt als Frühstück, sondern auch als Nachmittagssnack zwischendurch! Absolute Empfehlung :-)
