What do mothers and a good morning have in common? The sun rises with them! Mother’s Day is a wonderful occasion to spoil your mum and say thank you. And what better way to do that than with a relaxing morning and a delicious breakfast? In this article you will find out how you can make your mum happy.

Mother’s Day breakfast

Our motto: A good day begins with a good morning. To start the day in a good mood it doesn’t take much, but to start the morning well rested and comfortable with a tasty breakfast is definitely one of them. But for Mother’s Day it can be a little bit more. Breakfast in bed or maybe a little present?

Sleep in

Well rested and full of energy the morning starts much better. This may not sound like much at first, but a stress-free morning can work wonders. And while your mum is sleeping, you have enough time to prepare a delicious breakfast for her.

A little surprise

A fresh bouquet of her favourite flowers, her favourite chocolates, a self-written postcard or simply her favourite tea freshly made and delivered to bed. With small gestures you can spread a lot of joy. Of course, you can also do this from a distance, if you don’t live with your mum. Have breakfast together by voice or video call or send your mum a delicious breakfast package. Instead of breakfast in bed, breakfast right to the front door – instead of a few steps, just a few clicks 😉

Breakfast à la carte

Breakfast in bed or at her favourite place at the table? Muesli, porridge or crunchy? Fried eggs or scrambled eggs? Coffee or tea? Let your mum decide by giving her the opportunity to mark her favourites on a small breakfast card. This way you can give your mum a little restaurant feeling in the morning and prepare a breakfast completely to her taste.

Mother’s Day presents

Mother’s Day gift sets

To make it a bit easier for you, we have created three great gift sets especially for the upcoming Mother’s Day. Selected products, sweetly wrapped with a greeting card, delivered directly to mum, this is how it works: Choose one of the three sets and enter your mums address as delivery address, we’ll take care of the rest!

Self-made

We are huge fans of homemade gifts. A big advantage is that you can respond individually to the recipient and wrap the gift individually.

The homemade waffle or pancake mix is the perfect gift for every occasion

A homemade waffle or pancake mix with Verival Porridge is the ideal gift to sweeten the morning a little. You can take each other’s tastes into account, for example by choosing a specific porridge, but you can also pay attention to dietary habits and choose gluten-free or sugar-free porridge, for example.

These ingredients go into the mix:

  • 100 g porridge of your choice
  • 50 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • cinnamon or a little vanilla sugar, optionally

The mix only needs to be mixed with 100 ml milk, plant drink or water and can be made in a pan or waffle iron. The sweet breakfast is ready to be eaten with little effort and in a short time.

Spend time together

We have already talked about this in our article on the topic “Sustainable Christmas” and find that it suits every occasion. Time is and remains one of the most important resources and is therefore the most valuable gift. Spending time together, having breakfast together, going for a walk or trying out new things and creating memories is one of the most beautiful gifts for us.

Mothers do incredible things every day and for that you can really admire them, not only on Mother’s Day, but every day! We would like to thank our mothers and every mother out there for always being there, for listening and taking such good care of us – thank you and have a wonderful Mother’s Day!
