Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. This is mainly due to the fact that our energy stores are not replenished during sleep and are therefore almost empty in the morning. We first have to fill them with a nutritious breakfast. Breakfast should consist of a balanced mix of proteins, fats and carbohydrates. This way it supplies energy and stimulates the metabolism.
If you need a quick breakfast in the morning or if you prefer to have your breakfast on the go, the Breakfast Shake is perfect for you. Simply mix the powder with milk or a plant drink of your choice, add any fresh fruit you like and enjoy.
For a refreshing fitness breakfast in the hot summer months, you can also add ice cubes. We’ve tried two different shakes, which you can vary according to your taste. The best thing to do first is to choose your base (e.g. milk, oat drink, coconut water) and let yourself be inspired by seasonal fruits.
Here are two examples of how you can refine your breakfast drink:
Iced Breakfast Shake
- 35 g Breakfast Shake
- 100 ml milk or plant drink
- 100 ml water
- 1 kiwi
- 4-5 slices watermelon
- ice cubes
Creamy Breakfast Shake
- 35 g Breakfast Shake
- ½ banana
- 200 ml milk or plant drink
- 30 g yoghurt
